This an interesting read on how the world of deep fakes is getting stronger by using the same advanced tools that some organizations and academic institutions are developing for mapping facial expressions.
This is article published recently on a new undertaking by Oxygen Forensics. It’s apparent that more data from drones will be making it’s way into forensic investigations in the coming years. DJI is just one of the predominate vendors in the United States. A website called Droneforensics.com by VTO Labs, based in Colorado, has published a large database of available information to those who might need the data for comparison or authentication.
This article is about new developments in ENF at the A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), in collaboration with the Singapore Police. I find it interesting to see new developments in ENF from other countries while others claim the “Golden Age” has already come and gone. Please find the link below
How can you tell if a photo on your Facebook feed is truly authentic?
Is the battle of determining a genuine photo on the internet being lost or won?
We are proud to announce the official launch of our website!
For the last few months I’ve had the opportunity to work with my friends and their talented colleagues in Denver, CO.
During that time our goal was to put together an outstanding website with enough content and design work to keep our prospective clients from ever wanting to leave. I think we’ve accomplished our first goal and so far the feedback has been strong.
Over the next few months we plan to role out a marketing campaign that will reach local law firms and practices across the US. Our goal with the website is to streamline the forensic process while having the security and flexibility to work with evidence over the internet. Right now we are looking closely at CJIS compliance guidelines and AWS to implement an evidence intake system online that’s up to the highest standards possible.
Currently, we are a small forensic company with high standards and remain humble to have such great support. We aim to advance the science and maintain our integrity as we work alongside our colleges and peers. We are thrilled to provide a service that can help those who often times need it the most and strive to become better with our techniques and procedures.
Thanks for being along for the ride and here’s to 2018, the best year yet!
